An approach for degeneracy in Pythagorean numerology
Author(s): Sanjay Jain
Abstract: The earliest known systematic cult based on the rule
of numbers was that of the Pythagoreans. Pythagoras was a Greek
Mathematician who thrived in the 6th century BCE. The enormous range of
symbolic roles that numbers connected to date of birth have played in
various cultures, religions, and other systems of human thought can be
gauged from a brief sample. Numerology, use of numbers to interpret a
person’s character or to divine the future. The theory behind numerology is
based on the Pythagorean idea that all things can be expressed in
numerical terms because they are ultimately reducible to numbers. Modern
numerology attaches a series of digits to an inquirer’s name and date of birth
and from these purports to divine the person’s true nature and prospects.
Mathematically date of birth having the number 1 to 9 (ignore 0 in numerology
calculation) and out of nine number if date of birth having less than five
number due to repeating number then degeneracy occurred. In this paper we
studied degeneracy and find the way to remove degeneracy.
